Help Build the Future: Support the KOSA-America Multipurpose Building Project in Kenema, Sierra Leone

A Vision for Generations to Come

KOSA America, is a non-profit organization registered under 501(c)(3) Status in the state of Maryland. A dedicated network of alumni, embarking on a transformative initiative: the KOSA-America Multipurpose Building Project. This state-of-the-art facility will empower students, support local businesses, promote youth engagement, and improve access to healthcare. All in one dynamic space.

Imagine a space where students, teachers, and the broader community of Kenema come together to learn, grow, and thrive. A place where young minds gain digital literacy in a modern computer lab, where athletes train and compete in a state-of-the-art gym and basketball court, and where healthcare services are accessible to those in need. This is not just a dream, it is the KOSA-America Multipurpose Building Project, a transformative initiative designed to uplift the educational and social fabric of Government Secondary School, Kenema, and beyond.

Why This Project Matters

Education and community development go hand in hand. For decades, KOSA-America, a non-profit organization made up of alumni of Government Secondary School, Kenema, has been committed to empowering students, fostering academic excellence, and supporting community progress.

Now, we are embarking on our most ambitious project yet: the construction of a world-class multipurpose facility that will serve as a beacon of hope and progress. This project is not just about erecting walls; it is about creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and securing a brighter future.

The Planned Facilities:

1) Basketball Court: (Volleyball Court, 6 Aside Soccer, Long Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton) - To promote youth engagement, teamwork, and healthy competition resulting in daily physical activity.
2) Computer Lab - To provide training and enhance digital literacy by providing access to technologies for learning and development.
3) Clinic - To provide training such as CPR and First Aid and basic healthcare services to the community.
4) Auditorium - For hosting conferences, seminars, parties, and community events
5) Swimming-size Pool - To provide recreational and therapeutic benefits while fostering swimming skills, training young individuals for personal safety and professional skills.
6) Gym – Encouraging fitness and well-being.
