Korri's Cancer Treatment Fund
Donation protected
Five months ago, my niece, Korri Smith got a life-changing, devastating cancer diagnosis. Korri was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a type of bone marrow cancer. AML can progress very quickly, so immediately after finding out, Korri was transported to Stanford to begin treatment. Because AML completely depletes the immune system, Korri has remained in Palo Alto since February, in the hospital most of the time, but occasionally getting to stay at the Ronald McDonald house instead. Since February, Korri's undergone several rounds of chemotherapy.
Trevor and Katy (Korri's parents) take turns staying in Palo Alto with Korri, so one parent is in Palo Alto while the other is at home with Landon (Korri's brother). They make the two hour trip several times a week to trade off, so Trevor can work.
As you can imagine, the medical and transportation expenses are adding up. We'd love to raise some money to help them pay these extra bills so they can focus on what's important now: their family. When you have a sick child, the last thing you need is the extra stress of worrying about finances. Every little bit helps! Thank you for your consideration. Our family appreciates your support.
