Kornhauser's Harvey Recovery

This page was created by friends of Naomi and Aaron Kornhauser so that we can help them with their recovery from Hurricane Harvey. Just two weeks after Naomi and Aaron moved to Houston and into their first-ever rental house, their worse nightmare came true and the hurricane hit with devastating consequences. Naomi, Aaron, and their two young girls were thankfully rescued via canoe, and were embraced with open arms by the Jewish community of Houston. Unfortunately though, the hurricane completely flooded their home and almost all their belongings are not salvageable. In a horrible turn of events, their insurance company is refusing to cover them because their flood insurance would only kick in at the thirty day mark, and they had only been there for two weeks. We hope to help get them back on their feet quickly, and intend to use the funds raised to assist them with getting furniture, clothing, appliances, mattresses, strollers, and other essentials that they need for themselves, and Hannah and Jordie. Anything they don't use will be donated by Naomi and Aaron directly to others in need in Houston.
