Korey Pell’s Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Madison Vinson and Jenna Griswold and I are creating two types of fundraisers to help raise money for Korey Pell’s family to help with medical bills. There’s another fundraiser (Cars For Korey Fundraiser) that will be taking place Monday May 30th from 12-6pm rain or shine. It will be at Rivermont Park (1101 Lupton Drive). All donations and proceeds will go to Korey’s family. Vehicle Entry: $20 per vehicle that you are entering into the show. $5 for anyone else attending. We are still accepting donations! Everything is greatly appreciated!

Even if you are not able to donate that is completely fine, but all we ask if that everyone continues praying for Korey. He’s one of the strongest people I know. All proceeds for the gofundme will go to his mother Robyn and his family.

Long post-

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have been praying for Korey Pell. We are not out of the woods yet. He is still fighting. We need all the prayers we can get. I have also reached to see if we can hold a prayer vigil one evening this week at the school if possible. He needs all the prayers we can offer. I will continue to update as I get them.

I have been able to talk with her today via messenger.

Below is the update we have as of this morning so far.

Update per Robyn:

*Skull fracture with a concussion and hemorrhage underneath the fracture. Neck broke in 2 places, clavicle fracture, and occlusion of the vertebral artery.

Right now is still a waiting game, the 3rd day, which will be Tuesday, will be the one we have to watch. They said with his injuries, the 3rd day is usually the hardest and they either continue to get better or take a turn. He is a fighter though, so I'm not thinking anything less.

At this time he is still in and out of it, he knows who we are but he keeps asking what happened. He had 2 more CTs yesterday and the hemorrhage behind the skull fracture had grown but Idk how much yet. The dr originally told us he thought it would a little, but we had to monitor how much. That's the most crucial thing right now. They need to start him on blood thinners for the artery in his neck but can't bc of the bleed on the brain.

He is only on Tylenol and still not waking up very much, so hoping that's only from the concussion. He knows who we all are, but keeps asking what happend.

Hopefully I'll know more after the visit this morning.

Im trying not to lose my shit while breaking inside... I need my baby to be ok. Tay looks strong but is scared and wants his brother home, and Makenna wants her favorite boy home. It's hard. Really hard. We are taking it day by day.

Robyn as also requested please not try to visit at this time, leave it for his family until he is in an actual room. She will update when he can have more open visitors. Keep the prayers coming and remember how strong and stubborn he is! Anyone is welcome to come and pray.*
