RJ an aging Veteran needs help to stay in his home
Donation protected
RJ's home need upgrades in electrical, plumbing and roofing for him to be able to live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Hi, my name is Rex and I am the Public Relations Officer for Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Virginia Chapter 27-11. We are a registered non-profit veteran support group 501c3 and we are starting this fundraiser to help RJ an 87 year old Navy veteran with needed home improvements. We have been working with RJ for a couple years now making sure he has the support he needs to heat his home, get transportation to/from medical appointments, daily necessities, etc.
During this time we have realized that RJ needs major upgrades to his home in order for him to continue to stay in his home.
These emergency improvements include, installing a new electrical service panel (current panel is 1970 fuse technology and in very bad condition). This will include installing new safety outlets in locations where RJ and use his oxygen generator safely. He also needs a leaky roof repaired that is causing his living area to get wet when it rains. The final improvement very much required is a remodeling of his bathroom area so he can have access to an ADA compliant bath facility.

As noted above CVMA 27-11 is a 501c3 Veteran Support Charity and all funds donated to this fundraiser are tax deductible and will be 100% used to help RJ stay in his home safely, comfortably and with the dignity that he deserves.
We greatly appreciate any and all support we receive as we strive to help this Navy Veteran.
