Kora Neza Workshop Series: Interviews

*We are seeking $250 to subsidize the remaining balance which will cover the cost of a small snack for each attendee and roundtrip motorcycle taxi fare.*

Job seekers in Rwanda, East Africa are some of the most educated in the world with over 75% holding a Bachelor's degree. Each semester, thousands of new grads enter the job force with the knowledge to do the job; but they often lack the soft skills needed to compete with their peers for a job.

Next Step Rwanda (NSR) offers affordable professional development opportunities that boost their job seeking skills. The Kora Neza Workshop Series provides in-person collaborations with specialists who bridge the gap between theory and practice. The NSR team will partner with Jeremy Solomons of JSA Consulting at Nziza View Hotel on 1 April 2025 with 20-25 job seekers for a 3-hour workshop on interviewing skills. Topics covered are:
  • Prepare -including research & pre-employment questions
  • Present - including mock interviews
  • Pursue - post-interview follow up & thank you notes

Mr Solomons has graciously donated his time & expertise for this workshop and the owner the conference room has discounted the room fee.

We are seeking $250 to subsidize the remaining balance which will cover the cost of a small snack for each attendee and roundtrip motorcycle taxi fare.

**NSR clients are seeking jobs where monthly income ranges from $40-500 USD. Median income in Rwanda = $200 USD .
