Koori Radio to Boomerang and Back

Donation protected
Koori Radio is heading to Boomerang Festival at Bluesfest 2017 to broadcast LIVE and DEADLY on 93.7FM - AND we need some help to make it all happen.

The Boomerang Festival is an unrivalled cultural event that features an array of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music, dance, theatre, comedy, film and visual arts, along with cultural knowledge exchanges and thought provoking conversations.

We want to bring you along for the ride via the Koori Airwaves!

This will be a Koori Radio first - where we'll be broadcasting this culturally significant event to those members of our community who cannot afford to be there.

Help us broadcast all the best bits and be a major part of making Koori Radio history! Along with interviews, live music feeds and special interest stories we’ll be beaming the programs Making Tracks , The Drift Zone and Puha and Pork Bones six hours daily over the entire five day event. It will be heard on 93.7FM and/or streamed live from our website www.kooriradio.com .

However, getting our outside broadcast van, tech/support crew and presenters all the way to Boomerang at Bluesfest and back costs a bit too much money for a community radio station to cover all on its own.

This is why we’re reaching out to our regular listeners, local businesses, potential sponsors and station volunteers to lend a hand through a crowdfunding campaign which is now live at GoFundME.com

There are a range of different donation options and rewards to suit everyone’s budget (scroll a little further down the page to view our rewards). Every donation no matter how small will help us reach our goal.

All the money raised will go towards helping us cover the costs of taking Koori Radio 93.7fm to go live @ Boomerang / Bluesfest 2017

Let’s Do This!
