Koopa's TPO Surgery

This GoFundMe account is for my pup Koopa. He is 8 months old and has early signs of hip dysplasia. Koopa was dumped at a farm at barely 3 months of age, a kind human took care of him and brought him to America. Koopa wasn't the healthiest puppy, as soon as we brought him home we noticed he wasn't ok. He had a bad viral infection and had to be hospitalized for a few days. Despite his rough start, he's growing up to be the sweetest and most loving dog with not a mean bone in his body. Koopa's hips have degraded quite fast and he currently can't go for walks or play with our other pups without limping in pain. Being that he is only 8 months old he qualifies for a surgery that is only offered to puppies between 8 to 10 months. This surgery is called TPO (Triple Pelvic Osteotomy). With this surgery Koopa has a 95% chance of living a long, happy, pain free, dog life. This surgery stops his early onset of arthritis which would evidently lead him to a THR (Total Hip Replacement). The donation goal for Koopa is 8000, but the cost goes beyond that and we are paying what we can. We've already taken Koopa to 3 different vet specialists and paid for 2 sets of x-rays, and will have to pay for his post op recovery and rehab.

For years now we have fostered dogs and donated to rescue organizations. We care a lot for animals, especially the ones in our home. This fund is important to us because we don't want Koopa to suffer his whole life with pain, vet visits, labs, medications, and eventually major surgery anyways.

These funds would go towards his surgery in both hips, anesthesia, post surgery x-rays, medications, sling, and post surgery rechecks. Any amount of donation would help and would be appreciated, thank you.
