Hi all,

My sweet 7-year-old rescue pup, Kona, has torn both of her ACLs due to an overuse injury. This is a common injury, but if we want her to maintain a good quality of life, she does need surgery on both knees.

The vet’s cost estimate is $11,000 for both surgeries. I am looking to raise as much as possible to cover both of these surgeries. I have considered all other low-cost possibilities, gotten input from multiple vets, and these expensive surgeries called TPLOs are the only thing that will benefit her.

I am a low-income person who has been dealing with my own health issues the past two years, which has caused me to drastically decrease my work hours. Therefore, funds are even tighter than usual, and I am really in need of some crowdfunding support in order to get Kona the care she needs.

Kona and I have been together since she was a puppy, and she still has so much life left in her - probably 7 more years! It would mean the absolute world to see her running around, walking up stairs, and leaping across rocks and ponds as normal again.
