On Saturday, December 14, 2019 tragedy struck the family and friends of Komaljeet Kaur. Police pulled Komal from the water off J.J. Plaus Park, near Lakeshore Road West and Hurontario Street with no vital signs.

The family is in shock since they heard the news. Her mother is in catatonic state and the father is suicidal and lost all will to live. As the family prepares themselves to cope with this shocking reality and get a grip of the situation they are in, this fund aims to provide help for the funeral expenses and religious ceremony as well as repatriation of remains after the cremation.
Family members running this campaign, hope to come together to show their support and love through this. May God give the family strength as they go through this painful situation.
The funds raised will be withdrawn starting 23rd of December and would disbursed to Rantej singh , ( my father) who is handling the funeral and related expenses and repatriation of remains to India after cremation.
