Kolt's battle against Lyme Disease

What’s up everyone, I am currently battling late-stage neurologic Lyme Disease… a very misunderstood disease and also hard to detect for many. Once it becomes neurological, it can play games with your entire body and cause severe chronic pain… to say the least. I believe it is the reason my first two cervical fusions failed miserably and I also believe it is the reason why I’ve had multiple misdiagnoses over the last 15 years. It has robbed my body of so much health and has robbed my family of too much of their dad.

I am so thankful to finally know what I’m actually fighting but on the flip side, it has cost us everything to make it to this point. I am struggling with the costs of everything plus the amount of work it will require me to miss over the next 5-6 months . Even if I had insurance, they wouldn’t cover any of these treatments anyway. It’s messed up. I have had some very generous people already help get me started in the right direction with some detoxification and infusion therapies. But if I want to destroy this disease down to its core, it will take intense and consistent treatment/therapy over the next several months.

My wife just started a full time job. I still have one child that still needs homeschooling for now. So, I’m helping take care at home, finally learning how to cook for real (lol) and driving for Lyft with any spare time I have. Some days I’m not even well enough to do that.

Also, we’d love to be able to eventually move out of our motorhome. It’s getting cramped in here with 3 growing kids (12, 10 & 8).

This is only temporary! We could just use a little help during this rough patch we are passing through.

I plan on DEMOLISHING this disease in my body. I am combining medicine with a series of several holistic protocols.

Then, with a lot of hard work and through a lot of physical therapy I plan on REVERSING much of the neurological and musculoskeletal damage this has done in my body. Then I want to share the things that have helped me along the way so that others can do the same.

Also, I am so grateful that I was accepted to join a 10 week training class at Adaptive Training Foundation (that starts in May). My goal is to be Disease free before that class and then have the opportunity of a lifetime to be trained in such a unique and specific way. But again, that class and all of the Physical Therapy I am already doing is a very large time commitment.

I will get my health back and be able to live pain free again. I’ve done countless hours of research and I am already seeing a change and a healing beginning. I know I’m getting a little bit better every day. I’m learning a lot and I plan on showing this disease who’s in charge of my body. I know God designed our bodies to heal better than we allow them to I am determined see this through. Then, I will find a way to help others to do the same.
