Hello. Our names are Trisha and Justin Skelton. We started trying to have children earlier this year. We found out in April that we finally were! We have been SO excited to finally meet our baby boy. On September 23, 2023, I went into preterm labor at 2am. I was only 23 weeks and 6 days along. At first I thought they were Braxton hicks contractions and tried to fight through it, but at about 3 am my water broke and he started his journey into the world. Our beautiful son was born at 4:15am. With him being so early, the doctors were not able save him, so we made the decision to not let him suffer. We got to spend about an hour with him before the Lord took him home. Right now we are in a state of shock and numbness. We have set up this go fund me to help with medical expenses, memorial expenses, and to help us navigate this new and terrible normal we never thought would happen to us.
