Born Church in Marion, Indiana is friend to Sporshow House Ministry in Kolkata, India.  Pastor Piyal Mondal is the lead pastor. Nine hundred families belong to this church ministry.  There is great need in normal situations but these people have been suffering under the stay at home orders caused by the pandemic of Covid-19. Resources are extremely limited.  Add to this already dire situation, Kolkata was recently ravaged by Cyclone Amphan which left this area without electricity, water, and telephone service. People were afraid to move to crowded shelters due to Covid-19.   Pastor Piyal needs our help.  The need is great but he asks very little.  He would like to provide each family with some plastic tarps to cover their house frames and a small supply of dry goods such as rice.  The cost per family is $20.  We are seeking 900 families in the US, matching the 900 families in India,  who could donate $20 to provide these needed supplies.
