Hi, my name is Fayth Moschetti and I am fundraising for my brother, Kolbe Montes (18) , who was in a motor vehicle accident on September 20, 2021. From the accident, Kolbe was airlifted to Bend St. Charles Hospital, and upon arrival evaluated for his injuries. Kolbe is now suffering a diagnoses of a paralyzed quadriplegic, a broken left clavicle, fractured T3, T5, and T8, also broken C plate 3,4,5, and fractured C6, but most alarming a pinched spinal cord, which was at loss of oxygen for 9 hours. After three days in ICU, Kolbe developed phenomena, which caused his left lung to collapse. While trying to treat the phenomena, it had proceeded to his right lung. We are now on day 15, fighting phenomena because the doctors cannot do as much with him, being he is a quadriplegic. We are traveling back and fourth from the coast daily, while keeping our business open, and any money donated will be used for Kolbe’s additional medical expenses not covered by his insurance. This also includes his additional equipment, along with transportation expenses when the time comes for transferring Kolbe to the rehabilitation center, he will be attending. Unfortunately, a family member who had got to the scene, before we could make it there, had stolen his wallet, identity, and bank cards. This individual has attempted fraud, and access to his money, which has lead to overdrawing Kolbe’s account. We are staying strong and fighting one battle at a time.
