Kokua For Our Mitchell Rapoza

It was a shocking phone call to everyone who received it late in the evening of April 25, 2018. Our Mitchell Rapoza of Waianae has left his earthly body and taken his place among the heavens.  In the wake of his passing, we are all in disbelief that we cannot see his smiling face, or feel his passionate embrace, or hear his infectious laugh again. If you have ever spent time with our dear Mitchell, you know what big personality he was, his presence filled any space with laughter, smiles and warm hearts. He loved fiercely and so intensely that his love is still felt by those of us he has left behind, as if he were still with us. 

Now his Ohana needs your kokua. Still getting over the shock of his passing, his siblings and parents are left with the daunting task of arranging  Mitchell's funeral and memorial services, the cost of which can be a great burden.  Your donations will go directly to the care of our beloved Mitchell's remains and the services for his family and friends to say their last goodbyes. Any amounts you can give will be of great help and blessing to his grieving Ohana. 

Mahalo for your kokua. Most of all, we ask that you please continue to keep the memory of our beloved Mitchell in your hearts: tell his stories, repeat his jokes, keep singing his songs and dancing his dance. Keep his spirit alive and hold onto the memory of his big heart.

The beneficiary of the monies donated will be withdrawn by Cameron Pililaau. Uncle Cameron, as some of you may know is my brother's Uncle as his mother and our grandmother are sisters. Uncle Cameron has allowed me to pay for Mitchell's funeral expenses on his credit card while we are gathering your heartfelt donations.
