I am starting this fundraiser for my Kupuna

"Kala Bernard" . Since last year he has experienced many obstacles with his health & multiple surgeries that led to the amputation of his left leg. Right now with his only leg left they had amputated apart of his toe & foot in March 2024. He currently is back in the hospital since May 10th to now fighting. I am asking all his family, friends, his hula haumana, people of the Hawaiian Entertainment community who knows and loves uncle Kala & all that he has done, & represented in his lifetime as Kanaka and Manaleo sharing his ike & mana'o to many . Please help my kupuna take care of his medical bills . We are trying to get him into a long term care facility here on maui if they release him but they aren't to many options on maui for him. Anything will be most appreciated & I mahalo you all for taking the time to read this. My kupuna is my world, my legacy, & all I have left of my immediate ohana is him.
