Kōkua for the Sloan ʻOhana After Devastating Fire

Donation protected
Aloha everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my clients and her family after a devastating house fire here on the Big Island.

In the early hours of the New Years Day, Sarrah and her husband Kaniela were woken up around 2 a.m. by neighbors banging on their door, trying to get them out as their home was already in flames. They had to pull their 5 year old and 2 year old out through a window to save them.

They made it out safely, which is what matters most. But they lost everything.

Their home. Their cars. Their clothes. Shoes. Kids’ belongings. Everyday essentials. Everything they owned is gone.

Sarrah and her husband Kaniela are incredible people and humans. They show up for their family and for others, and now they’re facing the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing. This fundraiser is to help cover immediate needs like clothing, shoes, food, temporary housing expenses, transportation, and basic essentials for their children while they work through next steps.

Every single donation will go directly to helping this family rebuild their home and some sense of stability during an unimaginable time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up for them.
