KOKUA CHIP AND KAI

Aloha! I'm Kaylin and my Uncle Chip and my cousin Kai are residents of Maui and are being affected by the current wildfires. First I want to inform everyone that they are safe! We are so grateful for this. I'm setting this up on behalf of his older sisters (my mom included) and all of his friends that are looking for ways to help.

Unfortunately, my uncle has lost his entire livelihood. He's a very skilled carpenter, but the fires have taken his entire business. All of his job sites and all of his tools have been destroyed. Chip is doing his best to make ends meet and care for his son Kai, who has special needs, all while processing what's happening in Lahaina. We want to make sure they are both taken care of and supported as much as possible as they navigate what's ahead. Our goal is high and might even go up as we have no idea how long the community will be affected by the aftermath of these fires. However, every donation helps, no matter the size. Donations will go directly to my uncle to support Kai and himself as well as to begin to rebuild his business.
