Kokua Anson Guitang's Ohana
Donation protected

Anson Vince Kalua Guitang was born on February 11, 1991. He was an amazing father, son, and friend to many. On December 20th, 2018, while on his way to work, Anson was involved in a tragic head on motor vehicle accident on Kohala Mountain Road that took his life. Anson had many passions in life and pursued everything he did to the fullest. He worked hard as a truck delivery/furniture installation technician to support his wife Kenny and 3 year old son Kenson-Wayne. Anson loved to fish, dive, bow hunt and hang out with his Ohana and friends. Anson was content in life, humble, honest, responsible and dedicated to his family. Our community is devastated by the loss of such an amazing young man. At the young age of 27, Anson was truly one of Kohala's finest that will forever be missed.

Days have now gone by, and many tears have been shed. Many are at a loss for words by such an event and want to, but are not sure how to help. Meanwhile, costs will continue to add up for Anson's Ohana not only provide a proper funeral to put Anson the rest, but rent, and basic living costs during this tragic loss, and loss of income. In the spirit of the Holiday giving season, I would pray that we as a community can join together to raise at least $5k for Anson's wife and child, to properly lay him to rest with a funeral and make it through such a difficult time.

It is our hope that these funds might be available to Kenny and her son Kenson-Wayne at the start of the new year or shortly after.

*Average funeral cost $8-10k
