Tiare-Summer Ka'ohunoelani Kana'iaupuni was loved and cherished by family and friends. A fun-loving, genuinely beautiful soul who always saw the good in everyone and everything. A true believer that everyone deserves only the best. A cheerleader to route for you when you need one. A loyal friend who was always there when you needed her. A strong woman who held her head up high even when she felt pain on the inside. A fashion-forward icon who was an amazing artist with whatever canvas was in front of her. And most profoundly, a vibrant, nurturing, proud mother to Logan, Titan, and Gunner, for whom she did her very best to raise and mold into the amazing people they are today.
On July 16, 2022, at the age of 44, in her prime years and with a promising future still to come, Tiare passed away from an undiagnosed medical condition that caused an inoperable brain aneurysm. Even when she was lying on her death bed, practically lifeless, she still gave life to those in need. As an organ donor, she helped to save terminal patients with her healthy organs, which she gave selflessly. Tiare is truely gone too soon but alive forever in the hearts of all of us.
Parents Shannon and Liana Aveiro, have relocated Logan, Titan and Gunner to their home on Hawaii Island. The boys will continue and grow through the enrichment provided by their grandparents as Tiare would have wanted. All three of her sons are ranked #1 in their class. Logan, the oldest, is entering his final year of business school at the University of Hawaii- West Oahu. Titan will attend Kohala High School as a junior, and Gunner will attend Waimea Middle School as an eighth grader. Let us all help encourage them to complete their college education and secure the best future for themselves.
We are asking for $150,000 to assist in the monumentious challenges which have arisen since her passing. Funds raised will be allocated towards expenses of the following- medical, moving, memorial service, and continued education. No sorrow or burden is too great to bear when shared by many; we now ask for your kokua and aloha by donating and sharing this post as much as possible. We thank you in advance for your help as we remember the life of Tiare-Summer "Titi" Ka'ohunoelani Kanaiaupuni.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Bishop Memorial Chapel- Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus at 9:00 AM. Masks are required.
