Update: I met with a Cancer specialist today who agreed after Chest X-rays to perform the surgery to remove just the tumor but save his leg. He is the only doctor in Ventura County who has been successful at this complicated surgery.  Prior to this appointment, I have been to 4 vets who all concluded that amputation clear up to his hip was the easiest option. This tumor excision will give him so much quality of life as a senior puppy and as one of the greatest joys to my life. I can give you all of the medical details, but nothing will amount to how emotional this is for me. This little nugget is Koko. He's almost 13, and anyone that knows me knows he's basically been our studio mascot for the past 13 years since he was 8 weeks old. At times, he has been the therapy dog for our dance students, and is just a cuddle bug to anyone that loves him as much as I do. This year has been especially rough for him, as I just found out he has Cancer, with a spindle cell sarcoma that has aggressively grown to 5cm in diameter in just 4 months. He needs a very aggressive surgery to save his life.

Without this life saving surgery, in which his tumor has just a 5% chance of reoccurrence, he has 2-6 months left to live. With your contribution, you can help me extend his life by 4-5 years, so he can live a long full life (he literally has no other health issues). I'm sure you can all relate to how hard this is. Also, this surgery has to be done by a specialist, so cost is $3,000.

Those of you that also know me well know that I very rarely ever ask for help, but this time, I am humbly asking for your support as it's my heart that is tearing apart if I don't do this.  This surgery has to be paid cash at the time they do it, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12th since he could have as little as 2 months left to live without it.
