Kohltan Ward & Family

UPDATE--The holidays should be a time to celebrate, spend time with loved ones and prepare for a  new year full of adventures. Christmas this year will look quite different. Instead of hanging up baby’s first Christmas, they will be hanging angel wings on the tree. There will not be matching Pj’s or the new Xbox Kohltan wanted under the tree. The excitement of watching your children open their presents will be overshadowed by pain. Losing a child is something no parent should have to experience, a heartbreak that is completely unfathomable. The Ward’s are living every parents’ worst nightmare. On top of that, Kohltan‘s medical bills are starting to come in (life flight, brain surgery, surgery on his leg, MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, 5 days in the pediatric ICU). The driver of the vehicle had the minimum policy required and it will not cover the majority of  the medical bills that were accrued. Asher and Caleb have missed work since the accident. All donations are a tremendous help to the family during their darkest time. Thank you to EVERYONE for your prayers, thoughts, and donations.

 


This is a donation fund for the family of Kohltan Ward. Kohltan was hit by a car yesterday in Destin, FL while riding his bike with his friends like any 11 year old kid loves to do. He has 3 younger siblings with the newest one being only a few weeks old. Kohltan is a great big brother and loves his family and is a wonderful friend. This community is heartbroken over this tragedy and are praying for his full recovery. In the meantime, I’m sure the family will endure some unexpected expenses and along with prayer, donations would be a great way to help ease some of their hardships.   Donate what your heart tells you there is no amount too small!  Thank you!
