Our Kohen would like to share something very close to his heart.

Recently, our family suffered the heartbreaking loss of our beautiful darling, Roman - Kohen's little cousin! Roman was born prematurely and proved how strong and mighty he was for 368 days, travelling to many hospitals over multiple cities - even recieving a liver transplant and reaching his first birthday which many said he wouldnt! Roman taught our family true love, resilience, bravery and determination!

Roman's time with us was far too short, but his light and his love touched us deeply — and we carry him with us every single day.

My son Kohen has been drastically affected by losing his little cousin. He’s felt the sadness that comes with missing someone so special and struggles to process the loss of Roman, and as a family, we’ve been helping him to process that grief in a positive and meaningful way.

Kohen came to us with a wonderful idea — he wants to raise money to place a granite bench, by Roman's grave. Allowing us and himself to have somewhere peaceful where we can sit, reflect, and feel close to Roman.

To do this, my son Kohen will be walking up Mam Tor early in the new year, allowing him enough time to raise the funds he needs.

Kohen will be using his little legs and his big heart to make this dream a reality. He wants to see the sunshine through the clouds - a sight that reminds us all of Roman’s colour - yellow — bright, warm, and full of joy, just like the sun breaking through a cloudy morning.

This walk holds great significance for us. It’s not only a journey up a hill, but a step toward healing — a way of honouring Roman’s memory with hope, love, and light.

We would be incredibly grateful for any support or donations towards Roman’s bench. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring this special place of remembrance to life — a place where we can sit, talk, and remember the sunshine that Roman brought into our world.
