I wake up this morning with a heart full of thanks and strength. I can't put into words how grateful I feel to receive the prayers and support from everyone. I genuinely want to show my thanks and appreciation for all of you as it really brings comfort in this time of hardship. It is the most amazing feeling to witness God at work, when at times you wonder and doubt but he constantly reassures you that he is listening and that everything is gonna be okay. God is a miracle worker and healer, no matter what the outcome will be I will Never lose Faith. A great man told me that no matter what happens, real leg or fake leg, it will never prevent me from doing what I can for the Lord and being an example of His grace. As I go into surgery on Monday, I go in more confident as I take all of your prayers with me. The good Lord is working through all of you and with that I am so grateful. Thank you ally again for your kindness and support, I have nothing but love for you all.
Kody Kasey started his love for football at an early age. His most memorable moments took place at Pickerington High school , then continued his passion for football at Georgetown College of Kentucky where he played his first 2 years as a corner back, dedicating his all and constantly working together with his team. Unfortunately last fall during a game he had an major injury and broke his leg. A rod was put in place but the bone did not heal, then continuous infection after infection , and surgery after surgery he battled for a whole year.
On November 5th, 2015 the infection came back again, Doctor set up next day emergency surgery, not knowing what all was going to happen or what all was infected. All the muscle in his lower leg was infected and cut out, ankle not functional, foot had no feeling which all lead to an amputation on November 16th, 2015
