**Update, Kodiak's body is still with Primary Children's while they study his heart and see if they can find out what happened, since this is so rare he may be able to help find some answers that hopefully will help others in the future.  Once they have completed his body will be cremated and Jake and Marque will have him with them again.  


It is with a heavy heart we must share that our little Kodiak was born and passed on the same day.  April 2, 2021.  Kodiak Jay waldo-Potter was born to loving parents who wanted to show him the world.  He was also born at 22 weeks with HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome).  Which means he only had half a heart.  The left side never formed. 

Due to these complications, you can only imagine the cost of the hospital as well as the funeral costs for Jake and Marque.  All our hearts are broken. We are doing all we can but are asking if you have a little extra that maybe you can contribute to the fund to help offset these costs.

It is an impossible situation, but they are loved and supported and that is a beautiful thing. We all know that Jake and Marque were beyond excited and overjoyed to become parents.  They would have  been and someday will be the most amazing parents.

Right now, they need lots of prayers,  lots of positive vibes and if you are inclined or have the means to help support them, we would all sure appreciate it. We have been told the hospital stay will be at least $10,000, that is just the hospital without DR's etc. included in the charge.
