On Wednesday, January 21st, the five-alarm fire at the Avalon at Edgewater Apartment complex left close to 200 families without their homes in Edgewater, NJ. One of those families is one that I love like they are my own family. My lifelong friend Alicia (Viglione) Brandt, her husband, Eric, their precious 7 month-old son, Lucas, and their dog, Chunk, are all safe, most importantly, but they have lost everything that was within their home.
In hearing this news, I immediately thought of the hundreds of friends that Alicia and Eric have made over the years, and I knew this was the time that we could all come together and do everything we can to help support them in their new beginning.
Donations of any kind can help Alicia and Eric to get the immediate things that they need for Lucas and themselves. Together, their friends, family, colleagues, and former classmates can give what we can, and it will mean EVERYTHING to them. Thank you so much for anything you can do to help.
