Koden - a memorial to Help Repatriate Kazuhiro’s Ashes

Kazuhiro Hayashi was born in Tokyo on March 9, 1952, and was an only child. He came to the United States in 1973, and married Kayo in 1996 sharing a quiet life together with their beloved cat, who now remains by Kayo.
He was a man of many gifts—remarkably skilled with his hands, a wonderful cook, a devoted golfer, and a true lover of music. More than anything, he was known for his boundless kindness and generous heart. His warmth touched everyone who knew him.

He launched New York Nihonto Owners Club in 2012, and he has been spending his time and efforts to share and spread the appeal of swords with sword fans in the United States

Kazuhiro was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and was in the hospital under treatment when he suffered a heart attack and unexpectedly passed away.

This has left his family with some large bills and the desire to see his remains repatriated to Japan. This fund is to help offset expenses for repatriating his ashes. Any small amount helps and we ask that you give what you can to help Kayo bring Kazuhiro home.
