Our sweet baby Koda was attacked on Saturday night by an off leash, known aggressive dog in our own apartment building. According to our wonderful medical teams findings, this dog targeted Koda for pure attack. The damage this dog caused to his neck was centimeters away from vital organs. His collar was almost torn in half and probably saved his life.
We happened to be in NY for my sisters wedding when the incident occurred. We had no idea how bad the injuries actually were until we arrived home from our flight last night (Monday at 10 PM). Since then, all of our time and energy has been spent at his hospitals for his support.
He is currently in his second surgery and we expect to be able to see him in a few hours.
Any help towards his medical bills is so unbelievably appreciated. We love our boy and our only goal is his safety and survival.
