Help Koda Get a Second Chance

If you’ve ever met Koda, the Taco Dog, you know he’s much more than a dog. He’s a tiny Chihuahua Dachshund mix with a huge personality, endless love to give, and a special way of making everyone smile.

Recently, Koda’s world changed overnight.

He began showing signs of a serious spinal injury and is now in significant pain. Simple things that used to bring him joy, like walking, playing, and cuddling comfortably, have become difficult. After extensive veterinary assessments, Kenadie was given heartbreaking news: Koda likely needs emergency spinal surgery.

The surgery has an estimated 95% success rate and offers Koda the best chance at returning to a happy, pain free life. Without it, his condition carries significant risks, including paralysis and other life threatening complications.

As any pet owner knows, there is no easy decision when it comes to someone you love. Koda isn’t just a dog. He’s family.

The estimated cost of surgery and recovery is approximately $12,000, a financial burden that would be overwhelming for most families. We are creating this fundraiser to help ease some of that pressure so Kenadie can focus on what matters most: giving Koda every opportunity to heal.
