Hi, my name is Nat and I am fundraising for my nephew, Koby.

While holidaying in Thailand with his work mates, Koby was involved in a devastating scooter accident that has left him with life‑threatening injuries and an extremely long road to recovery.

Koby is currently in a Thai hospital facing multiple complex surgeries. The first will be a major spinal operation involving the fusion of his L1–L5 vertebrae. He also has a bleed on his brain and liver, along with further damage to his kidneys and bladder. His condition is serious, and the medical team is working around the clock to stabilise him and prepare him for the surgeries ahead.

As you can imagine, the medical costs associated with emergency treatment overseas are overwhelming. My sister has flown to Thailand to be by her son’s side, and the financial burden they are now facing is immense and unexpected.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts but deep hope. Any support—big or small—will go directly toward Koby’s emergency medical care, surgeries, hospital stay, and the costs involved in keeping family by his side during this critical time.

Koby is a kind, funny, hardworking young man who brings so much joy to everyone around him. Seeing him in this condition is heartbreaking, but we are holding onto hope and doing everything we can to give him the best chance at recovery.
