Recently this world lost a very courageous and extraordinary young man following a hard fought battle with cancer.  
Koby Peterson lost his fight on May 9, 2020 at the early age of 13. In his life, Koby had a passion for the game of baseball, and became very close to the team at Vernon College. To honor his beautiful memory, the Koby Peterson Memorial Scholarship has been created at Vernon College.  The scholarship will be designated for student athletes on the baseball team.
