Kobis Vet Fund
Donation protected

Hello friends, family, and other kind donors, I've started this page to help raise money for my dog Kobi, who was recently diagnosed with a possible cancer and a distended stomach filled with fluid at the ASPCA emergency vet on Tuesday, November 19th. I noticed a few days before he was diagnosed he wasn't really acting like himself. The Sunday before, he was playing with his best friends in the dog park, but when we came home, he was peeing excessively and having loose stools. They found nodules in his chest and possibly abdomen and recommended further testing that they couldn’t provide.
On Wednesday, November 20th, we saw a specialty vet at The Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, who looked at the nodules that were found in the X-rays taken by the ASPCA and did an ultrasound to confirm that the nodules were in fact cancer; however, her tests came back inconclusive.
The vet has now recommended a CT scan for better imaging to determine whether the masses found are cancer.
I hope to find answers to help me come to a decision whether it will be a good idea to put him through surgery if there is a chance to fight this, or if it would be better to let him be comfortable and at peace.
I have exhausted most of my funds in previous visits and am reaching out to a community of people who I know Kobi has touched their hearts and changed their lives, for help in making these days a little easier for us. These funds will be used for kobis testing and whatever treatments he may need. I can’t thank everyone who has already helped and given us their kind words and prayers enough.
On November 22nd we came to animal specialty center where they gave us a more accurate estimate for Kobis CT scan
