Hi, my name is Kinga and I have my 4 months old baby Kobe right next to me, supervising this writing (and my whole life as a matter of fact).
Kobe was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and faulty knees which means he walks a bit funny and can be a bit unstable but as he grows he might loose the ability to use his back legs. Normally he manages it like a champ with a little extra wobble and the odd flop. But last week his little legs slipped and he fell from a windowsill somehow managing to break a tiny finger bone in his paw so he now can't bear any weight on it.
At the moment, Kobe has only one fully functional leg out of 4 which sounds like the odds weren't with him... He's still trying his best to stay positive and his playful self.
I'm here to ask for your help with Kobe's operations to get him well for the life ahead. He needs paw surgery urgently so he can walk without pain again, and as he grows, he will also need surgeries on both hips and knees to correct his condition long term. Total estimate from the vet for all those "adventures" is £15,000 , some of which will be covered by the insurance and some by me but sadly that's not enough right now.
Despite everything, Kobe is the sweetest, funniest purring machine that never gets out of battery. He loves chasing imaginary objects, wrestling with his brother and demanding attention at the most inconvenient times. Right now, he mostly watches from the sidelines but you can tell how much he misses being a silly kitten.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and would go directly toward his surgeries, treatment, and recovery. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this page would help more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read Kobe’s story and for helping to give him a chance to run, jump, and cause chaos the way every kitten should.
He promises to repay you with good karma and maybe some adorable photos.
