Kobe's Fight To Recovery

As some of you may know, my dear friend Angela's son was involved in a near fatal shooting in the chest while riding his bicycle to his grandmother's house. Kobe was rushed into emergency surgery where doctors removed half of his lung due to extensive damage. They also attempted to remove the bullet, which barley missed his heart, but were unsuccessful due to it being lodged in his spine. Kobe is currently paralyzed from the chest down. We have started a Go Fund Me account to help with Kobe's recovery mentally and physically, along with the long term care he is going to need. He will be in the hospital for two months where he will later be transferred to a center to learn how to navigate life as a paraplegic.  Angela is a single mother that drives Lyft (which is very time consuming) to make a living, so this will also give her the opportunity to be there for her son during this tragic life changing event.
