Hi- this is all about Koa…….

From a 5min buzz around on a Yamaha pw50 to 24 days in Flinders Medical Centre where Koa has undergone 6 procedures (5 surgeries in 17 days & 1 manual manipulation). This unique and complex injury has been discussed and reviewed with specialists in Adelaide with the RAH & W&C as well as Oxford Medical Centre where our lead Orthopaedic surgeon had recently worked in early 2025.

We are on the other side of this now and working hard on rehabilitating his knee towards what we are aiming is going to be a full recovery.

We have had great support from our Physio team at Flinders and HPC. The ongoing cost of 3 sessions a week with a training program Koa is working through is currently where we are at. Koa is also working in the pool at the SA Aquatic Centre to gain fitness and strength in his body.

We thank you for any support you are able to provide towards Koa’s rehabilitation costs…..

We all just want him to be out there playing footy playing basketball and surfing ‍♂️ again.
