As many of you know Chris and Kailyn’s lives were abruptly twisted just days before welcoming their first born son Knox in May.  Chris was diagnosed with appendix cancer which will entail intensive treatment and surgery. There  willl be many days in the near future when Chris may be unable to work, yet his and Kailyn’s financial responsibilities, including medical bills, will continue. While they would never ask for help, please consider making a donation to offer your financial support which will allow Chris to focus on his full recovery. This is an opportunity to give back to an amazing person who has always given himself to family, friends, and the community. Please consider donating what you are able and reach out to others who wish to support such a wonderful family.

“By far the toughest thing I’ve had to do in my life is tell my at the time 8 month pregnant wife that my ct scan has found ascites fluid in my torso and a large mass in my appendix. That It was most likely caused from cancer. That I had hit the wrong lottery of being a one in a million appendix cancer patient. My battle has just begun as I will most likely have a massive surgery to remove this mass along with other tumors in my torso area along with a hot chemo wash of those areas. I’m lucky to live so close to one of the leading experts in performing this surgery at Brigham and women’s hospital in Boston. This will definitely not be easy as our son is due any day now and I can’t picture leaving my wife and son to eventually have this surgery. I do know one thing that this battle must be fought and that I will like always rise to the occasion and do what champions do...win!!! I may miss some of my sons early moments but I will be there for all of his important ones long term. Like the first day of school or the first day he straps on some football pads and lights some poor child up with a nice hit. The most important thing is that I will always know that my wife Kailyn Rendigs, who is my constant rock, will be by my side for the rest of my life and it can’t get any better then that. I say to you cancer fuck you and that you chose the wrong badass to fuck with. You will be defeated and I will be cancer free sooner than later!!!!” - Chris
