On June 11, 2025, our hearts shattered when my best friends, Bailee and Austin Cummins, experienced the unimaginable: the sudden and unexpected loss of their beautiful 3-month-old baby girl, Koa Marie Cummins.

That day, they were notified by the babysitter that Koa wasn’t breathing. This is the moment their whole world flipped upside down.

There are no words for the pain they are going through. Koa was a light in this world—radiant, cherished, and deeply loved. Her time here was far too short, but her impact will be forever felt. This kind of tragedy is something no parent should ever have to endure.
