Ricky Cole, our magnificent friend and amazing husband to Russell Stephens, left this realm on the morning of Saturday, January 17, 2015, after a one-month battle with small cell carcinoma.
"A change in course of treatment for Ricky has come about. After the Dr's determined that he is in liver failure and his liver can't handle the chemo Ricky has decided it best to stop all treatment and rest peacefully at home from now on. Ricky is resting, comfortable and out of pain and doing this on his term's. He's so happy to be home and does not want to return to the hospital. Hospice is now involved and helping us help Ricky in this time of transition. Thank you again to you all for such amazing support and love at this overwhelming time. Please know that he is out of pain and peaceful." - 1/15/2015
"Ricky's very short and ferocious battle will cancer is over. Ricky left this realm this morning around 2am. He was surrounded by love, peace, beauty, art, music and all the support anyone could imagine. My life is devastated and now contains a gigantic crater where my soulmate, best friend, confidant, and most of my entire world once was. I was SO incredibly blessed to have Ricky in my life for over 10 years and be married just under 4 months. THE BEST 10 years of my entire life that ever was and ever will be are now in the past. I love you so dearly my beloved man, you will be in my thought's and memories at all times for the rest of my life. I'm so proud of you and so proud to have been your husband." - 1/17/2015
Ricky had requested to be cremated and this memorial fund is to help Russell with the expenses. Please donate what you can to help and share with everyone that knew Ricky. He was one of a kind and will live forever in our memories and hearts.
