In loving memory of Nick
Donation protected
In 2014, my best friend, Megan, started dating this guy, Nick... They had only known each other a few weeks when I had to go to the hospital and called Megan for support. Megan was hanging with Nick at the time and he didn't hesitate to just come with her. Without missing a beat, he was caring for Megan's son, Chase (who was 6 at the time) and my 3 year old daughter while Megan sat with me in the hospital room. He was the kindest man I've ever met. He loved Megan from the moment they met until his last breathe with more intensity than anyone or anything I've ever known.
I have watched him spend the last 8+ years working so hard to provide everything humanly possible for His family. I have watched him become a father with the birth of their son Layton, and then their daughter Layla. I've watched him step up and be a father figure and help Megan raise Chase. I have watched him support countless family members and friends with anything and everything imaginable because Nick was the type of man to not hesitate at all to jump in and help push a car, renovate a kitchen, or hand over a hoodie off of his own back if anyone got cold.
My best friend's world changed in an instant on May 7th, when a horrific accident took her husband and best friend, Nick, from her. I know that there is nothing in this world that he would want more than for his wife and his babies to be taken care of while they are grieving the way he has cared for them in his life.
This Go-Fund me is to raise the finances for a proper Celebration of Life for one of the most genuine men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, also to care for his family while they begin the grieving process. All proceeds will go directly to Nick's widow, Megan. Thank you all for your Love and Support during this tragic time.
