Cyndi Brooks Medical Fund

My name is Amber Hawkins Warren and I am raising funds for my sister Cyndi Brooks.

Cyndi suddenly collapsed in her home on Sunday, December 18th 2022, and immediately began convulsing. She continued to have major seizures and was rushed by ambulance to their nearby hospital in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The doctors found a large mass on her brain, and due to her continued seizures, they had to intubate her and life-flight her to New Haven hospital. The neurosurgeons there have determined she has a 2" carcinogenic glioma tumor on her frontal lobe. They were able to get her breathing on her own, but she will be undergoing surgery this week, and then very likely chemotherapy and radiation.

Since Dave is a self-employed piano teacher, the Brooks family does NOT have full medical insurance coverage. I am begging anyone who knows and loves this family to please contribute to ease the burdens of their incoming medical bills from the ambulance, life-flight, ICU stays at both hospitals, surgery, and post-surgery treatment to eliminate any remaining cancer cells.

Anyone who knows the Brooks family knows how talented, generous, service-oriented, and loving Cyndi and Dave are. They both love serving in their church and their community. Dave is a piano teacher in Westchester County and Connecticut. Cyndi is an amazing mother of 4 kids, and has been working two part-time jobs up until her collapse. They are supporting a son, who is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a daughter in college at Utah State University.
