Hi, my name is Lucy & I will be walking from Canterbury to Rome, the Via Francigena, this year.

I have wanted to walk it since visiting Rome in 2017 & finish with walking through the Holy Door in St Peter’s Basillica at the end.

I will be staying in pilgrims accommodation or with host families as much as I can to get a real sense of the pilgrims journey, but distance of 2,000kms will take me a over four months in total to complete.

I will be walking in two sessions, April through to the end of June, then the middle of September to the end of October.

I am aiming to keep the costs down as much as I can, & then donate any monies left over to Prostate Cancer in memory of Dad
