Knuckles came to us as a rescue/rehome approx a week ago after his family made a tough choice to rehoming him after battling a chronic skin allergy and felt the best thing for him would be away from what is causing him the allergy. We instantly fell in love with his happy smile and charismatic grumbles. Unfortunately during his vet check for his skin it was discovered that he had advanced testicular cancer and a secondary mass in his groin which at the age of 12 was inoperable and was causing him some significant pain. The vets have prescribed him some preventative pain and anti-inflammatory meds, but unfortunately it is only a matter of time before we have to say goodbye to this sweet boy and give him his wings. We are trying to give him the best of final days of his life and while he is happy and comfortable he is on his meds. But when the time comes we would like to have him cremated and his ashes returned to his owners who loved him as much as we do. Unfortunately due to his palliative care needs and his vet work. Our resources are a bit short for this given we have taken him on ourselves due to rescue finding him not to be a viable candidate given his age and medical conditions. We thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give us with this and give Knuckles a fitting send off and remembrance. Knuckles would also like to thank everyone for their thoughts and love with a head nudge and grumble
