Madagascar Mission Trip

Donation protected
I am a Master's student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. I am crazy about theology and biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek), and really have a heart for pastoral ministry. I am single. I spent my entire childhood with traditional farming in a rural area. Like most of African traditional family, my parents know poverty but genuinely happy in the Lord Jesus. They are great people; I am so appreciative of the love, the good upbringing and education, and above all, the honest fear of God that they have lavished upon my eight siblings and I.
The first eighteen years of my life, I did not go to church, knew very little about the real God. I received Christ when I was 18. For me, my conversion, baptism, and call to ministry, all happened within a week period of time.
I had pastored baptist churches, youths, and trained pastors before I left for America.
Given my rural background, I can talk personally about poverty, illiteracy, and the struggles of true churches in Madagascar. I grew up in a small village in Madagascar, pastored in one of the largest cities in Madagascar, lived in London and Texas. I am someone who is lost between two different worlds: rural and post modern societies. My dream has always been to improve the theological education of Evangelical church leaders in Madagascar.
Here in the States, I work on campus to make just enough money to cover my feed and expenses here in Fort Worth. I cannot meet what would be needed for any mission trip abroad. I am not complaining since my sacrifices here are worth the quality training that I receive for my teaching ministry in the future. If my finances permit, I would rather fly back to Madagascar every summer to be teaching in our small Bible schools scattered across the island of Madagascar.
I will be joining the Southwestern Seminary team on May 26- June 12, to train new church leaders in Fort Dauphin, Southeast of Madagascar. In the morning, I will teach biblical interpretation and probably sanctification according to Galatians. Also, I will be one of the main translators for the other American teachers. In the afternoons, I and another teenager will be sharing the gospel through beach soccer.
Once that mission is over, I will visit my family and friends who are mostly in the Eastern part of Madagascar.
Then I will embark on several trips to train pastors, as most our regional training take place over the summer. I also expect to lead a youth camp, though I do not have the details yet.

I really appreciate if you would share this on your Facebook page or email to your generous friends.
Most of you, my friends are students, if you would donate a couple of dollars, that means a lot to this mission.
Please pray for me, the whole team, and the hearts of the Malagasy people. It is a great opportunity to focus our prayers not only on our mundain requests but the subject that matters the most: salvation of those lost people, remember we used to be one of them. Thank you very much!
