Many of you may have seen that Hurricane Melissa has left a heartbreaking and devastating mark on Jamaica, impacting countless lives (an estimated 1.5 million) people and communities.

In the wake of this tragedy, families have lost their homes, their means of sustainability, businesses have been damaged and the path to recovery feels overwhelming and in some cases, beyond reach.

My name is Elizabeth Virgo a mother of three Airline Professional born and raised in Montego Bay, Saint James, Jamaica. I have created this account on behalf of my husband Romain Virgo who is a Jamaican Reggae Singer seeking to use this platform to ask for your help in aiding those persons in dire need of assistance following the devastation left by Hurricane Melissa. We have also shared the link on our Family Channel “TheVirgos” @TheVirgos on YouTube.com to ask our subscribers “VIRGONATION” for any donation no matter how small.

How contributions will be used:

All contributions will go directly to those most affected by this hurricane in areas such as Saint James, Saint Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Trelawny and Saint Ann, providing essential aid such as food, water, clothing, toiletries, baby supplies, emergency supplies, building materials or temporary shelter supplies and medical supplies.

Every donation brings us one step closer to healing, restoring hope and rebuilding our beloved Jamaica Land We Love.
