Knox Rendigs 529 College Savings Fund

Chris Rendigs, best known as "Diggs" or "Koach Diggs" recently lost his battle with cancer at age 40. He left behind his loving wife Kailyn, and his 1-year-old son Knox. Throughout Koach's fight, the cancer in fact never dampened Chris's spirit. Koach spent countless hours of precious time with his son Knox, and his wife Kailyn. Knox and Koach went to the beach, on vacation, and loved each other like no other.

Knox and Kailyn were not his only love. He loved football. Koach Diggs lead the Mashpee Falcons to 4 State Championships over his time coaching at Mashpee High School. He impacted every kid he coached and made them better men.

Although Koach Diggs is not with us, he left behind a beautiful child Knox, AKA Mini Diggs. Mini Diggs already personifies Koach's legacy with his wholehearted spirit and endless laughs and smiles. Knox was everything Koach wanted in life. Koach's goal was always to make sure Knox and Kailyn were provided for. There is no better way to honor Koach's life, than to make sure his legacy Knox is taken care of as he grows up and heads off to college.

This Fundraiser was inspired by former Mashpee Football Players who have been impacted so dearly by Koach Diggs's selflessness and want to honor legacy.

About a 529 Plan: a 529 is a tax-free college savings account. The goal of a 529 is to safely grow and preserve wealth over the next 18 years as a child grows up and prepares for college. The 529 plan will be under Kailyn Rendigs's name, with the sole beneficiary being Knox Rendigs. 100 percent of the Proceeds will be going to the 529 account.
