⭐️207 MILES IN 30 DAYS! ⭐️

Today marks the start of Retinoblastoma awareness!!

Myself and Leonnie have decided to run/cycle 207 miles each in 30 days!! This is the distance between her home and Birmingham hospital, which is the trip they had to make each time they went for Cillian’s treatment.

We are doing this all in the hope of raising money for CHECT (Childhood Eye Cancer Trust).

Leonnie noticed a change in Cillian’s eye and got it checked out as soon as she could. Cillian was then sent for tests, which led to him being diagnosed with Retinoblastoma in October 2021. Cillian had to have his eye removed and had to adjust to life with an implant, however his body rejected this and he went on to have several more operations.

Cillian is the most resilient little boy I’ve ever met, he takes everything in his stride and always has that mischievous smile on his face.

He absolutely smashed beating cancer and in May 2022 he was given the all clear and was able to ring that bell.
