i’m Hi, my name is Kandace, and I am raising funds to help cover emergency medical and dental expenses after a recent accident. I was riding an electric vehicle in the bike lane when a car suddenly veered into my path and forced me off the road. I lost control and crashed at about 15 miles per hour into a building. The impact knocked out one of my teeth and split my lip open, which required six stitches.

On top of the physical pain and emotional toll, this accident has affected my ability to work. I am currently a full-time student, and I support my family by working as a server/bartender. With visible injuries to my face and mouth, it is hard to do my job properly and comfortably. This has made an already tough situation even more stressful.
