Knock Cancer out the Door
Donation protected
Hi my name is Tracey and I am raising funds to help my son Raziah with transportation. He has to see his doctors and start his chemotherapy treatments in Indianapolis, Indiana. The drive for me to take him is about 2 hours and 30 mins away from our home. As his mother it's my responsibility ability to get him there. I have been renting cars to get him back n forth for now, but it's getting really expensive to do so. This journey is very hard for my son that we have embarked on every day.
My son is in his 3rd of College at Purdue University he is studying to be Computer Information Technology. He is very excited about his career path. He still attends school everyday unless there is a doctors appointment. I'm so proud of my son for still going to college despite the illness that he has, since he has been diagnosed. He still manages to keep a positive mindset on everything!
My son is literally my Hero, I am so proud to be his mother. So as his parent I have to do everything in my power to make sure he gets the best treatment and doctors to knock this Cancer out. So he can continue on have a productive and happy life.
We were told with chemotherapy all the side effects and the things that he possibly will expect to endure. Which saddens me greatly that my son went from a healthy young man to this, I wouldn't wish this on none.
I know God is there to help guide us. But sometimes you got to do this out of your comfort zone to get help when needed and this is one of those times for us.
His transportation cost different prices each time we rent vehicles to go Indianapolis. He will be going to Riley's Children's Hospital to start his treatments in the next few weeks. I don't have reliable transportation of my own to get him back and forth so I have been renting cars from Enterprise car rental.
When we first found out about his Cancer we went there for numerous of testing and consulting with numerous of doctors. The expenses have been a lot to travel.
I am asking for help so I don't have to worry or most importantly my son doesn't have too worry or stress about transportation back to his chemotherapy treatments for the next 10 weeks. Until his surgery later on. That we can get help with transportation that is what the money will be used for and gas in the vehicle.
My son and I will greatly appreciate anything you can donate to help him, get to his treatments.
