Our hearts break that you are reading this. The sisters of Manuel Ortiz, 59, (Manny) of Santa Ana are heartbroken over the sudden and senseless death of their brother. The incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday Thanksgiving evening in Orange near the 55 Freeway. Manny and another man were standing near their truck when an intoxicated driver plowed his truck into them. They both died at the scene.

This loss has blindsided his sisters, 5 children and 2 grandchildren during this holiday season. Any money donated will be used toward burial expenses.
