On March 29, 2025, I adopted Hazel! She had a little limp the day I picked her up, but I figured she would walk it off. Later that week, I scheduled an appointment to have it looked at by a vet.

However, while waiting for that appointment and trying to keep her rested, she got zoomies and tore the cruciate (ACL) ligament of her OTHER leg! She now has a partial tear in her left leg and a full tear in the right leg. The surgery for her right leg repair is scheduled for April 18, 2025. I am raising $5,000 to cover the cost of the surgery based on the quote I was given and associated costs to cover her exam expenses and vaccines she needed.

I have already spent about $700 out of pocket for her other appointments.
